Map-O-rama

In 2019, Free Street started work on a Cultural Asset Mapping Project to document performing arts and culture in Back of the Yards, Brighton Park, Englewood, Gage Park, and McKinley Park. The project was commissioned by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and the League of Chicago Theaters.

This project is ongoing, but all of the information we gathered through surveys, workshops, and interviews can be found here on this website.

The live gallery show celebrates artists and culture makers in our communities, and invites anyone to join in adding to the map.

En 2019, Free Street comenzó a trabajar en un mapeo de bienes culturales para documentar la arte y la cultura en Back of the Yards, Brighton Park, Englewood, Gage Park y McKinley Park.
